Filler

2:02 Why is he always like this like don't be such a Debby Downer

3:50 This guys gonna be the culprit and that whole tea scene is gonna be important for some reason idk idk

4:21 Sometimes Conan will just be saying words like what does he even mean

Loving Sonoko's outfit here btw

Is this like a real place or ...

6:13 They got hella beef for sure

26:49 He can just.. climb up there?? Is there no sign that says no climbing or..? Even if there was I bet he wouldn't even care

Are they not gonna tell the family they found the ring??? Just leaving them hanging???

33:42 NO STOP I WAS KIDDING!!&?;!';! I didn't think it was him fr I thought that was like too predictable no

Like literally what is happening lmao

36:34 Ok they have to be intentionally maneuvering themselves towards the nearest chair cuz no way anyone would naturally pass out like that

Ok thankfully the tea scene wasn't actually important cuz that would be too much

We're just ignoring the triple attempted murder plus kidnapping charge now?? Ok

This episode was absolutely insane but I liked that. I like it when they go a little crazy insane with the filler episodes instead of a usual murder. Also nice that no one died for a change

yeah, cutting the breaks, starting a landslide, bomb under the balloon, kidnapping the bride to be... sure... let's just forgive the guy and let him walk the kidnappee down the aisle to her wedding.

\: i bet you can hear my extreme eyeroll all the way over on your side of the internet. :/

oh, and here's the source via the wiki: en . wikipedia . org / wiki / Huis_ten_Bosch "Huis ten Bosch is a royal palace in The Hague, Netherlands. It is one of three official residences of the Dutch monarch." the translation is 'the house in the woods' in Danish. you can also read a more 'academic' piece here: smarthistory . org / huis-ten-bosch /

as far as i know, no, there is no 'real Dutch theme-park' in Japan. it's all fake. well, unless you count Disney and Universal Studios Theme Park... heh... but i doubt you would. ;)

considering how isolationist and ethnocentric the Japanese have been for thousands upon thousands of years... i doubt they would build a whole Dutch 'town' in Japan as a theme-park.

now if you wanted to build a 'ninja village' you'll have to compete with the one that's already there. it's moderately 'period' to the Warring States Era, but very... ah... campy... tongue-in-cheek... there's live action 'in character' actors and stunt-men who hold staged/scripted events through the village at certain times at certain locations... not like an 'on stage hero show' though. more like, if you've ever done Disney, Cinderella, Snow White, other characters in costume wander about etc. well. if those actors did action scenes instead of just posing for pictures and such... you'd get the idea. right? there's a few fan-made YouTube vids i've watched of the 'ninja village' etc.

also, there's more than one Edo (and other) period 'towns' that has been nigh on 100% preserved and people live in them/work in them/take folks on tours... those are much more true to history and the re-enactments there are ahh... have you ever visited Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia? it is not a theme park per se... here i'll quote its actual website "costumed interpreters will welcome you to the largest living history museum in the world" they wear Colonial American dress, speak in idioms and somewhat period English, and they talk to the tour groups and explain 'their lives' in the City and Period. well the 'preserved towns' in Japan are alot like Williamsburg.

Honestly yeah, I would be mad they let him go if it wasn't so funny

Huh, the way they were using it in the episode kinda made it feel like they were referring to a real place, well it still kinda is. Kinda funny detco just made up this whole amusement park for this one episode

I've been there its not fake, its in Nagasaki and pretty famous there. Nagasaki is where the english first had contact with japan so there is a lot of stuff like that there though they turned it into a theme park nowdays

LesK • 1 year ago

really? that's strange because it isn't on any map or google search i performed. that specific name came up with zero hits in Japan. maybe you meant something that's named completely differently? but it totally sounds highly plausible, the Europeans who lived and worked there would want to build their own styles of buildings etc. but a real theme park and not just a historical district? wow. i am highly surprised.

I think it’s the grandmother, she is playing hard to please but she has a soft spot. I think that when the light was out she took it and then faked the heart problem to divert everyone‘s attention away from the ring and left out a clue so she could see how hard the bride would try to find the ring.
How is fate not on his side?

2:13, I like how Sonoko also invites not only Ran but Conan as well. Do you think he reminds her of Shinichi like how it is sometimes with Ran? 2:33, Sonoko had her own childhood-friend-future-spouse-thing as well? But she ended up with Makoto instead. 3:57, lol she just wants some girl time with Ran but Conan is always there. So I was wrong before. Is this that town in Japan where people would come to trade before it was outlawed and the borders closed? (like a really long time ago). "Obaa-sama"? Sonoko really knows when to be polite, it's probably from her upbringing being from a really rich family.

11:18, same Conan, same. <- x2, 13:53. 14:54, look how excited he is for it! 15:06, aww, look at his little jumps~ Also, Ran or Sonoko could have just put him on their shoulders, he can't weigh any more than a dog or a school backpack. 16:05-16:06, I love Sonoko's outfit, I kinda want it. That wedding dress looks like a fancy cake. Sonoko is doing pretty well with her detective-ing (?) on her own, asking for alibi's and all that. 35:17, she's so shocked lol. Someone could have easily just seen that ring and stolen it, that was so risky.

this family is so....
they're so rude to her my god....

i absolutely hate that old woman. so evil.
and that train guy is so sus. i wonder what connection he has with the bride?

lmao who tf leaves such an expensive and precious ring outside on public statue's hand like that??? crazy...

btw why this new animation style is so basic and ugly at times? the statues and close up of the buildings look like they were cut out of real life pics and just splashed here. and at one scene (at 22:05) the building looked like it melted because of the over-smoothing they had to do to blend the real pictures with the characters drawings... it feels so cheap to look at- the earlier hand-drawn episodes looked so on point and beautiful, i miss that.
on top of that, this case was so annoying and didn't need to be 1 hour long.

The last arc for that filler in bleach before it hit the timeskip

The Vot3 • 1 year ago

The detail and consistency of its ART are impressive.
The best in my heart is tied to that.
